Our stay at this historical gem was truly special. The beautiful surroundings and peaceful atmosphere provided the perfect escape. The hosts were extremely welcoming and took the time to show us around and make us feel at home. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Plus, the staff was excellent and catered to our every need. We also had the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful dinner in the abbey dining room. This place is a hidden gem that we hope to return to someday.
The availability of refreshments throughout the day was limited.

Outdoor pool: I felt like a glamorous movie star lounging by the sparkling pool, soaking up the sun and sipping my refreshing cocktail.
Location: Some may find the distance to nearby attractions a tad inconvenient.

The abbey itself was like stepping into a fairytale - filled with history and charm. The staff and owner were incredibly kind and attentive, making me feel welcomed and taken care of. The food they cooked was delicious, especially the homemade cake. Staying in a monks room was a unique and exclusive experience that I will never forget. I highly recommend this incredible place for anyone visiting Sicily.

The ambiance of the historic abbey, with its beautiful architecture and serene surroundings, was truly captivating. It was a pleasure to wander through the cloisters and appreciate the rich history of the place. The hotel's well-maintained general areas made it easy for a senior like me to navigate and enjoy all the facilities. I felt a sense of tranquility and peace throughout my stay, which was exactly what I was looking for.
I would have appreciated a more attentive and considerate staff. As seniors, we sometimes require a little extra assistance or attention, especially during meal times or when needing basic amenities.

Our stay at Abbazia Santa Maria Del Bosco was the highlight of our trip to Sicily! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by Marta who gave us a tour of the incredible building. The room was spacious, clean, and worth the extra cost. The breakfast was lovely, but the dinner was even better - the chef was excellent and accommodated my allergies and pregnancy. The swimming pool was a real treat, and we felt like we had the place to ourselves. The surroundings offered opportunities for tours and hikes. an incredibly special place to stay.
We highly recommend this hotel.

If you're looking for a unique and exclusive experience, spending time in a former abbey is a must. The Abbey Santa Maria Del Bosco in Contessa Entellina is the perfect place for history enthusiasts. Sleeping in a monk's room that's hundreds of years old and having dinner with the owner's family adds to the authenticity and charm. The guided tour of the abbey by Giulgio is a fascinating bonus. The beautiful cloisters and historical rooms, along with the proximity to a natural reserve, make this a dream destination. The comfortable beds and attentive staff just enhance the overall experience. And let's not forget the simple yet delicious breakfast with freshly prepared cake.
Totally recommend this hotel.

I got great value for my money at Abbazia Santa Maria Del Bosco Guest House. The room was comfortable with high vaulted ceilings and a spacious bathroom. The location in rural Sicily is secluded and peaceful, perfect for getting away from it all. The staff treated me warmly and gave me a fantastic tour of the abbey.
The breakfast selection could be improved with more variety of options.

Charming hosts, stunning surroundings, and an enchanting atmosphere. Loved the pool and the abbey's grandeur.
Who needs helpful staff anyway? Menu speedrun, lack of attention, and overpriced snacks - pure perfection.
